Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper who is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and enjoys tackling complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience and possess a proactive "can-do" attitude, constantly striving for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for bookkeeping activities across a range of clients including;
Bank Account Reconciliations
Journals
Data Entry
Payroll
Business Activity Statements
Understanding and maintaining accurate financial records
Preparation of weekly and monthly financial dashboard reports for clients.
You also assist the practice manager in day-to-day ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
3 Years+ experience in relevant roles
Bookkeeping knowledge and processes
GST legislation
Payroll & Superannuation
Xero and XPM Practice Management Software preferred
MYOB experience
Competent in Microsoft programs and in particular excel & outlook
Deputy, Receipt Bank/Dext and other Xero add-on experience is advantageous
Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise your own workload and ensure deadline are met
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Time Zone: Australian Business Hours
